Motion: This house believes that old folks home has no place in the society?

People, you guys must help me. I'm having a debate tomorrow and I'm in the proposition team.

I agree too.

I'm only 20 years old but if it were not for the knowledge of our elders we would not be were we are today.



So first point is there knowledge.. They have pioneered the way to our society from how we build our homes, how the subways run, the coal we use, everything.



second point they are somebody's parent's are we just going to throw our parents who gave us birth away when were older because we do not wish to care for them? The parents who fed us, raised us, molded us into the people we are today?



another point Old folk homes take care of our elders when we can't. Not everyone places there folks in care beacuse they don't want to care for them, alot don't have time, plus these homes provided jobs for younger people and training.
