I've been looking for a way to create stop motion videos for the longest time now, and I still haven't been able to. Help, please and thanks(:Does anyone know of a good stop motion program that is compatible with a jvc digital camcorder?You need to make sure that your camcorder can provide a Video Out signal by USB. If it can't and that's how you've been connecting your camcorder to your computer, then that's obviously why stop motion programs can't detect your camcorder.
If your camcorder can only provide a video out by RCA (yellow jack), then you'll need an RCA to USB adapter or buying a decent webcam since providing a live video stream by USB is their entire purpose, meaning they can be used with any stop motion program.
Don't use a digital camera. The problem is that most digital cameras (even DSLR's with a live view) can't be used with stop motion software since they all go into a "generic hard drive" mode for uploading pics when plugged into a computer. It's not made to provide a live video feed when plugged into a computer, so you'll just end up having the same problem you're having with your camcorder.Does anyone know of a good stop motion program that is compatible with a jvc digital camcorder?using a camcorder would be a poor choice of capture device. stop motion is really a sequence of still photos, where objects are moved slightly between shots. when the photos are viewed in rapid sequence flip-book style, the objects give the appearance of animation. Postulating my first two statements, there has to be a starting point of some motion. If things had always been moving and always will be moving, there is perpetual motion. Therefore someone (or something) had to give initial motion to the universe and the realm of existence.

How are flying things in stop motion filmed?
Often in stop motion animation you see items or characters flying through the air. My first guess would be some sort of wires holding them up during filming but you can never see wires, even on freeze frame, so what technique is used to accomplish this effect?

The jude has set a bond and denied my motion to have the bond waived. I think after hearing my reaosn why the bond should be waived, my appeal is due to a clerical mistake, unemployed, sick relative, no money, the judge might reconsider or at least lower the bond amount. I have the judges chambers telephone number. Can I call to plead my case? I was told in Florida you can speak with the judges over the phone, but I'm in Maryland...Is it common to call a judge in their chambers to plead your motion?The judge's clerk will asnwer the phone and probably take a message or tell you to write a letter. The judge will most likely be unavailable to chat over your motion with you one on one. They would want you to officially file something and have another hearing. But you can always try. You never know.

Is it common to call a judge in their chambers to plead your motion?Speaking with a Judge without the other attorney present is not permitted. If you believe that you should have your motion re-heard, I think you should write a letter to the Judge, with a copy to the prosecuting attorney, and request a reconsideration. Then you will appear in court, and there will be a record of your request. If you need to appeal later, you will need this record. Put in your letter the reasons you think the Judge should reconsider bail, keeping in mind that the reason for bail is to ensure that you appear in court for your hearings, and don't engage in criminal activity while you are awaiting resolution of the charges, and ask that a hearing be set for a reconsideration.The effect of atmospheric resistance on motion of a satellite?

How do I turn off Smooth Motion on my Vizio HD TV?
I can manipulate all the other display and picture options, but when I try to select Smooth Motion in the list to try to turn it off (It is set on Middle), I can't select it.

Ok if you have a stationary camera the camera would obviously just take lots of pictures, see if there were differences in the pictures, and then know motion occured. But, if a camera was in motion, maybe on a car, is it possible for it to tell if other objects are in motion??How can a camera tell if an object is in motion?A "camera" - really a complex electronics device - absolutely can tell. There are radar devices that can measure the speed of another car accurately even if the car it is in is moving - at any speed. It can detect the area around the other car, and compare the speeds of both, and based on some fairly complex mathematics, it can 'decide' which is the stationary field, and which is the moving object.

Why aren't the motion sensors on my leviton occupancy sensing switches working?
I'm currently a maintenance man and when i started here about six months ago the occupancy switches in the staff kitchen only worked when they were manually operated. We purchased 2 new occupancy sensors and I installed them, this time grounding them to their respective GEM boxes as the 2 switches prior were not grounded (not that it would effect their operation in theory anyway), and the new switches had the same problem. I adjusted every setting available and still they would only operate manually. So I we bought 2 more and I installed them and they won't detect motion either. If anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated.Why aren't the motion sensors on my leviton occupancy sensing switches working?do what every maintenance guy does, double check wiring, than replace the unit. and be aware, even though you are a professional, there is still such thing as an owners manual.

i only want it to do this once,

stop();
that will stop it at the that frame.
Now since you haven't stated whether you are working in ActionScript 1, 2 or 3, ive made sure that this will work with all versions (and it does!).
Now, i know thats the end of what you asked, but im going to offer a little bit more advice:
To create a button, what you want to do is select an object (ie: a square or text), and press F8 on your keyboard. A dialogue box will come up titled "Conver to Symbol", and this is where you define what type of symbol this will be. Your choices are: Movie Clip, Button, Graphic. By making it a button, you will make it clickable.
Now, when working with ActionScript 2, scripting the button is easy, all you would need to do would be select the button and add the following actions:

}
Its that easy, not with ActionScript 3..Its basically ActionScript2 Classes on Steroids!
So you have your button created, and all is good, but theres an extra step. What you have to do is click on the button you have created, and in the properties panel, you will see %26lt;Instance Name%26gt;, this is where you name your button. How to install a motion sensor light?
I picked up a motion sensor from the store, opened it expecting to see a normal electrical plug on the end and found a bunch of wires instead. The instructions (for easy install! haha) keep talking about removing the existing light. There are no instructions if you didn't have a light there before. Do you want it permanently installed? If so, you have to run wires to it some how. I am assuming this will be outside. You can do this, Its not hard.
first determine where you want it. this might be difficult, so you can buy some wire nuts and an extension cord, cut of the end of the extension cord you plug things INTO. use the wire nuts to make a temporary connection to the light. I like to wrap the wire nuts with electrical tape just to be sure. Wait until dark, plug in the light. use a screw or nail to hang the light in the likely places. mark the spot, then wait for daylight.
test the spot. you need to be between studs. tapping gently with a hammer, or using a stud finder will tell you where they are.
Now comes another decision. do you want to recess the box you will need for the connection into the wall or not? I would recommend not, just get a weatherproof box to mount the light in, if this the case, you nee do mount it on the stud.....

How can I prevent motion sickness?
I have a terrible problem with motion sickness. I only need to get into the back seat of a car and I'm already in cold sweats and dizzy and nauseous. The car doesn't even have to be moving. It doesn't even have to be working! So, you can imagine the issue I have when I travel (by car) from New Jersey to Florida with a 40 lbs dog, my mother, and myself in an Impala. It gets very crowded and very warm and it's a long and bumpy ride. I thought that paying $75 extra, just to have the Wii Motion Plus attachment for my 3 other Wii remotes was a little too much.
