Can a paralegal file a motion to set aside judgement on grounds of unfair surprise?

I recieved judgement of adverse possession of my property without ever having been notified. I recieved advice to file a motion to have the judgement set aside on grounds of unfair surprise, and potentially have the matter retired. Can a paralegal file a motion to set aside judgement on grounds of unfair surprise? You need an attorney. A paralegal cannot help you. Paralegals cannot employ themselves as attorneys, they cannot practice law, give legal advice, or file documents for you - this is called the unauthorized practice of law. Paralegals can only work under the direct supervision of an attorney.
