Why do perpetual motion devices not exist?The machine you are describing is nowhere near 100% efficient. There will be losses in the motor, at the wheel and charging the battery. Not to mention that even if it were 100% efficient you would have effectively done nothing.Perpetual motion machines violate both the 1st and 2nd laws of thermodynamics. In order for them to be possible there would have to be cases in which these laws do not apply. So far we haven't found any of these cases.Why do perpetual motion devices not exist?
part of the energy is disipated in friction / heat
