My project is about the uniform circular motion, the questions are:
- what will happen if the acceleration decreased?
- what will happen if the radius decreased?
- what will happen if the mass of the object decreased?What will happen if the mass of an object decreased in the uniform circular motion?If the acceleration is to be decreased, either the rotational speed will have to decrease or the radius will have to increase.
If the radius is decreased, what happens depends on what attributes you are going to hold constant. If the angular momentum is going to remain the same, the acceleration will have to increase.
If the mass of the object is decreased, the energy in the system will decrease. The force toward the center can decrease to maintain the same acceleration.
