Does filing a motion to reopen your chapter 7 case give you the automatic stay?

Our bankruptcy case was dismissed because we didin't do the 2nd financial management course. We immediately took the class and filed for a motion to reopen the case. Can bill collectors start collecting immediately? Or, is there a 10 day grace period to give me time to file the motion to reopen? I filed the motion the day after I got the notice that the case was closed. Please help.Does filing a motion to reopen your chapter 7 case give you the automatic stay?Filing the motion to reopen you case will not restart the automatic stay, that wont happen till the judge reopens your case ... Do you have an attorney working your case?

Nor is there a grace period,, So, Yes,, your creditors will be free to start contacting you as soon as they figure out your case was dismissed ,, The more diligent ones will start fairly quick ...
