Can closing your eyes in the car help prevent motion-sickness?

I understand that motion-sickness can be caused by confusion with the eyes and ears within the car, so will closing your eyes help at all? And should you look out of the side window, or the front? Can closing your eyes in the car help prevent motion-sickness?look out of the front. Don't read and try drinking ginger beer (or any other ginger for that matter) acupressure bands for your wrists are supposed to be good too.As a last resort you could try travel sickness pillsCan closing your eyes in the car help prevent motion-sickness?i say look out the front not the side because thats where you can see the most motion and you can close your eyes if you want to but i wouldnt reccomend it while your driving a a really beutiful placeCan closing your eyes in the car help prevent motion-sickness?ya it works, and when i was little i held ice or a cold water bottle to my forhead when i was feeling a little dizzyCan closing your eyes in the car help prevent motion-sickness?
