Where is the best place to sit on a Roller Coaster so you wont get Motion Sick?

Im going to Dollywood soon and i want to ride some of the Roller Coasters, but i easily get motion sick- is there a specific spot i can sit where it wont be as bad?Where is the best place to sit on a Roller Coaster so you wont get Motion Sick?Well if you don't like seeing what is coming up then sit in the middle-front. If you don't mind seeing what is coming up then sit in the very front since as a general rule it is slower the farther front you are.. Have fun!Where is the best place to sit on a Roller Coaster so you wont get Motion Sick?the middle

front- see everything thats gonna happenWhere is the best place to sit on a Roller Coaster so you wont get Motion Sick?I would suggest sitting in the middle, closer to the front. A lot of people think that the back is the best place, but it's actually the jerkiest and fastest. Smack dab in the middle might be your best bet!

I hope you can ride lots of rides and have a wonderful time despite your motion sickness! =)Where is the best place to sit on a Roller Coaster so you wont get Motion Sick?
Definitely to the front. One of the reasons we become motion sick is because of a disconnect between what we are seeing vs what our inner ear is feeling. An example of this is people who get nauseous if they read while riding in a car/plane. IF you do become ill from the coaster, it can be difficult to get back to normal. The inner ear does NOT enjoy being messed with. Seeing everything happen from the slowest car is your best bet to avoid it.

Find a cool, breezy place to sit down, and put your head in the standard between the knees hyper-ventilating pose. Breath in deeply through the mouth and -slowly- sit up while exhaling slowly through your nose. Then recline if you can, and continue breathing in slowly and deeply through your mouth, and exhaling long and slow through the shnozz. This maximizes your oxygen absorption and can help bring the inner ear juices into line again.
