Hey, everyone. I've been browsing through my facebook friends, [lol] and I see that they have pictures of people jumoing in the air and such. But it seems whenever I try to take pictures of people like that, it doesn't work, I just get them when they land on the ground. I have a Nikon d40 and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to catch people in the air or in motion stuff like that. thanks a bunch! How do I take pictures of people in motion?Try to get your camera settings burst mode and for avoč°‹d RAW shooting limitation choose JPG mode.. Then use S mode (Shutter priority) and choose your shutter speed over 800. It will adjust apareture (F) it self. Also adjust your distence and focus your camera manually. And start shooting before your friend start to jump and don't relase shutter button untill it lands. In this case you will take almost 8 - 16 photographs and at least several of them will be look like your freind flying. How do I take pictures of people in motion?Go with a fast shutter speed, and don't try to follow them with the camera -- instead, keep the frame where you want to take the picture, and wait until they enter the frame. Press the shutter JUST before they hit the right place for the picture.
A tripod might help to keep the camera steady in place. How do I take pictures of people in motion?USE A SHUTTER SPEED OF 1/125 BUT PREFER 1/250 AND EVEN 1/500 MAKE SURE YOU ADJUST YOUR F STOP TO CORRESPOND.How do I take pictures of people in motion?
use manual focus, pre focus on where the person will be when you hit fire, get them to jump or whatever then shoot them
