I need help with a physics calculation using laws of motion?

I have a 400kg stationary weight and i lift it to a height of 10m . Frictional resistance to motion is 300N and the velocity at 10m is 7m/s.

What is the inertia force, the total propelling force, work done and the maximum power req.

I also need to find out what the total work done is for the above system.I need help with a physics calculation using laws of motion?You need to add up all the different energies to find the work done.

The energy lost due to friction is F x d = 300 x 10

The potential energy is f x d = mg x d

The kinetic energy at the top is Ek=陆mv虏

The maximum power is when it is at the top because power = F x velocity and that is the maximum velocity.

"inertia force, the total propelling force" I'm not sure what these are, they are un-familiar terms.

However read the below link.

I suspect/believe the initial force is mg down.

propelling ? maybe just use the total.

f= mg + friction + ma鈧€

for a鈧€ use...

v虏 = v鈧€虏 + 2ad

v鈧€=0

This is assuming the force is constant.
