Im looking into getting a motion detection hidden camera to put in my place. Since im gone days at a time (4 days or so a week) I wont have time to replace the tape so that's why I want a motion detection. Also not to expensive either (around $50 or$100). Anybody recommend any? Do they have to/can they be recorded on a dvd player Thanks in advanceWhats a good inexpensive motion detection surveillance camera to be used indoors?the best one is just a wifi ip camera , which has a live feed to your computer , with the net on , the program allows a virtual perimeter which for example when a stationary image has movement you get an alarm , and an email or sms notifying you of it , and additionally then allows you to check the feed to see what is happening at the premises via http:// web feed ..Whats a good inexpensive motion detection surveillance camera to be used indoors?..in that case , if you have a webcam , that software will allow you to pick up the video feed and record it , no need to buy anything (if you dont care about a watermark)

Whats a good inexpensive motion detection surveillance camera to be used indoors?Dlink secure cam worked for me. It is wireless to your wireless router. Get a external 500GB drive, set the supplied software to saver to it. If drive gets full, it starts to rewrite the first video taken, a first in first out type of thing. The only downside, your computer must be on 24/7.
