How can I do Motion Photography with a Point & Shoot?

For a class project I have to take 4 pictures using3 styles of motion photography:



stop motion

panning

subject blur



However, I have to use a point %26amp; shoot camera. I am having a very hard time with this. Any suggestions?How can I do Motion Photography with a Point %26amp; Shoot?I'm not sure what kind of point and shoot you have so i can't give u the best of advice. but all i can say is shoot in "P" mode which is programmed auto and mess with the settingsHow can I do Motion Photography with a Point %26amp; Shoot?If your point and shoot has any way to manually adjust the settings, what you need to do is select a long exposure. If it doesn't, you may just have to get a better camera.
