Which planet is not observed to have a retrograde motion?
Thanks.Which planet is not observed to have a retrograde motion?Earth. ALL other planets at one time or another are observed to retrograde as seen from Earth.Which planet is not observed to have a retrograde motion?
Most of them are normal, prograde, not retrograde! Most of the moons even follow standard motion! In fact... most everything in the galaxy (including the galaxy) rotates or revolves counter-clockwise (the prograde motion). It has even been suggested that for some reason (that I don't remember) this entire galactic cluster and area of space that we sit in has a general prograde motion imparted to everything. Of course, there are the retrograde exceptions, but they are small in number compared to prograde motion bodies.
As for planets, the exceptions are Venus and Uranus.
The smaller, irregular moons of the Jovian planets are often retrograde, but the major moons are prograde.Which planet is not observed to have a retrograde motion? All eight planets in our solar system orbit the sun in the direction that the sun is rotating. Six of the planets rotate in the same direction, which is counterclockwise when viewed from above the Earth's north pole. The exceptions鈥攖he planets with retrograde rotation鈥攁re Venus and Uranus. Venus's axial tilt is 177 degrees (or -3 degrees), which means it is spinning almost exactly in the opposite direction to its orbit.[1][4] Uranus's axial tilt is 98 degrees.[1]

Lots of wrong answers here, because lots of people don't know what retrograde motion is. Retrograde motion is the _apparent_ reversal of a planet's direction against the background stars, caused by the Earth's motion. _Every_ planet shows retrograde motion at one time or another.Which planet is not observed to have a retrograde motion?Venus is the ONLY planet with retrograde motion. All other planets move according to the right hand rule, i.e. counterclockwise. Venus moves clockwise.Which planet is not observed to have a retrograde motion?
The Moon,..?.
